I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider in Tennessee (License # 3386). I received my master’s in Marriage & Family Counseling/Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. I provide DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed counseling.

My treatment specialties are the following:

Individuals - addiction, anxiety-related issues, trauma, complex grief, depression, and spiritual issues

Couples - premarital work for pre-engagement, engaged or newly married

I also, serve at The Next Door Recovery as the Clinical Executive Director where I have served for 16 years. It is a joy to add private practice counseling to the ways I get to serve our community in greater Nashville! I look forward to supporting my clients as they restore their own selves and offering ways that they can create a healthy community for themselves outside of the therapy space. Healing takes a village.

When not at work, you will find me with my supportive husband and two energetic sons! I also enjoy listening to various genres of audiobooks, spending time with my loved ones, and cheering on my sons at their sporting events.

Fun facts: I love being on any beach, anywhere! My favorite movie has to be the classic, Steel Magnolias. I’m southern to the core and love my iced sweet teas. What fills me up is chatting with friends or family around a table of comfort food. I also love a good spin class and spending time trying new ways to move my body. And, my grandmother passed on her love of lipstick to me!
